Obituary for Joseph A. Gangemi
GANGEMI
JOSEPH A., age 84, September 29, 2022. Beloved husband of Carole A. Gangemi (nee Caiazza); devoted father of Angela Gangemi and Carla (Albert) Bogart. Loving grandfather of Joseph, Jason and Ava.
Joseph was a lifelong South Philadelphian and saxophne musician and teacher. He taught music for 39 years for the Bristol Township School District. He was a former mummer and played in many parades. He enjoyed playing with Jonathan’s Big Band. up until 2011. Joseph also enjoyed playing for years with the band at Eagles Games at Veterans Stadium.
Joseph’s main love was for his family, especially his grandchildren and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday morning, October 5th, 10:00 to 11:15 A.M. at St. Richard Church, 18th and Pollock Streets. Funeral Mass to begin 11:30 A.M.
Interment Private.
